Whether you're returning to your instrument after a break, looking for a new musical challenge, or simply searching for a friendly group to make music with, the Association of Nantwich Bands offers opportunities for woodwind, brass and percussion players of a wide range of abilities and experience.
We currently offer two ensembles, each with its own character, repertoire and approach to rehearsals and performances.

Join Nantwich Concert Band
Nantwich Concert Band is our community wind band, bringing together players of all ages and backgrounds in a welcoming and supportive environment.
- Open membership
- No auditions
- Weekly Wednesday rehearsals
- Community concerts and events throughout the year
- Recommended playing standard of approximately Grade 3–4 or above

Join Nantwich Symphonic Wind Band
Launching in September 2026, the Nantwich Symphonic Wind Band is designed for experienced woodwind, brass and percussion players seeking the opportunity to perform more challenging wind band repertoire within a focused performance ensemble.
- No auditions
- Membership managed by the Musical Director
- Weekly Monday rehearsals during term time
- Concerts, festivals and special musical projects
- Intended for experienced players of approximately Grade 6 standard or above
