We are a mixed-ability community wind band made up of brass, woodwind and percussion players from Nantwich and the surrounding area. Our aim is simple: to enjoy making music together and to share it with our community.
👥 Who Can Join?
- We welcome woodwind, brass and percussion players of all ages.
- There is no audition.
- We recommend a playing standard of around Grade 3–4 or above, but enthusiasm and commitment matter most.
- If you’re unsure whether you’re ready, just get in touch — we’re happy to advise.
We are currently especially keen to hear from players of:
- Bassoon
- Bariton Saxophone
- Horn

When: Wednesday evenings, 7:30pm – 9:15pm
Where: Highfields Academy, Cumberland Avenue, Nantwich, CW5 6HA
You are very welcome to come along to a rehearsal before committing, to see what we’re like and meet the band.
🎼 What We Play
Our repertoire includes a wide range of music:
- Film and stage favourites
- Popular and contemporary arrangements
- Traditional wind band music
- Marches and light classics
- Seasonal and Christmas repertoire
We aim to provide music that is enjoyable, varied and rewarding to play.

We also organise social events throughout the year, including Christmas celebrations and occasional outings.
Instrument hire may be available for a small monthly fee — please ask if this would help you.
💷 Membership Subscriptions
- Adults: £10 per month
- Under 18s: £6.25 per month
Subscriptions help cover music, venue hire, insurance and running costs.
