Do I need to audition?
No. Neither Nantwich Concert Band nor Nantwich Symphonic Wind Band requires auditions.Which band is right for me?
Nantwich Concert Band is our community ensemble, offering open membership and a welcoming environment for players of a wide range of abilities and experience.Nantwich Symphonic Wind Band is designed for experienced players seeking the opportunity to perform more challenging repertoire within a performance-focused ensemble.

Can I join both bands?
Yes. Subject to availability and the requirements of each ensemble, several players are members of both bands.What instruments do you accept?
We welcome brass, woodwind and percussion players across both ensembles. Specific recruitment needs may vary from time to time depending on instrumentation and vacancies.Can I visit a rehearsal before joining?
Yes. Prospective members are welcome to visit a rehearsal before deciding whether to join. Please contact us in advance so we can arrange for someone to meet you: info@nantwichbands.co.ukDo I need my own instrument?
Most members provide their own instrument. However, we have a selection of instruments available for hire, subject to availability. Please get in touch if this is something you'd like to discuss.How much does membership cost?
Membership subscriptions currently start from £6.25 per month for under 18s and £10 per month for adults. Full details can be found on each band's membership page.How do I join?
