Worleston Fete 2016

What a contrast from last Saturday!
Worleston Fete
was hot and sunny with a great crowd under beautiful blue skies.

The band played through our summer playlist conducted by Nick's dad Kevin - thanks Kevin!  Nick's in Italy playing his trombone (anyway that's what he told us he was doing, although he could always be on a beach somewhere!)

Nantwich Societies Fair 2016

The Band braved the British summer weather, managing in the end to complete two sets despite the rain, playing to a small but appreciative audience at the Nantwich Societies Fair.
We all got VERY wet!
The good news was that we had good attendance at our stall in the Square and took details of several people interested in joining both the main Concert Band and our Community Training Band.

Our annual Midsummer Music Concert at the Civic Hall in Nantwich was hailed a huge success by players, singers .....

...... and of course, the large and very enthusiastic audience.

This year Nantwich Concert Band shared the stage with The Allsorts Choir to create an exciting and varied programme.

In the interval the audience was entertained by our Community Training Band

We ended, what was indeed a magnificent evening with a flag waving finale of
Pomp and Circumstance (with enthusiastic encore!)
